Lowepro launches new camera bags geared for trail shoots

Lowepro, the trusted leader in gear protection for 50 years, announced its new Flipside Trek series of versatile photography backpacks built to protect everything you need for a day in the outdoors.

Standout features of Flipside Trek include innovative body-side access, giving you access to photo gear without having to put the bag down, and split camera and adventure gear compartments to carry what you need with no compromises.

“Each bag that we design takes into consideration the gear required and conditions experienced by its intended users,” said Tim Grimmer, vice president of brand and product. “Outdoor photographers need more than just their cameras to get the shot; they require a number of personal items to help them arrive on location safe and sound. Flipside Trek accounts for this, offering camera and accessory protection, as well as storage and attachment points for adventure gear, to make sure you have everything you need for an off-road shoot.”

The Flipside Trek series includes three sizes of bags designed to hold the following:

  • Flipside Trek BP 250 AW – Mirrorless or compact DSLR camera, lenses, compact tripod, 8-inch tablet and off-road gear
  • Flipside Trek BP 350 AW – Standard DSLR camera, lenses, compact tripod, 10-inch tablet and off-road gear
  • Flipside Trek BP 450 AW – Standard DSLR camera, lenses, compact tripod, 10-inch tablet and off-road gear

All three bags include Lowepro’s ActiveZone suspension system and straps for effortless, all-day wearing comfort; CradleFit padded pockets to suspend and protect your tablet; and a built-in All Weather AW Cover for extra protection from rain, snow, dust and sand.

The Mindanao group of islands in southern Philippines has long been called as the country's "Promised Land" - albeit this is often said as a yet-fulfilled potential, instead of highlighting what the place now has to offer. We don't only believe it's wrong; we also strongly believe time to correct this and highlight everything about this place that is, indeed, a land full of promise. So here's... Mindanaw Magazine!
