Lowepro unveils carry-on roller for photographers and videographers

Lowepro has announced thePhotoStream RL 150, a new lightweight and streamlined airline carry-on roller designed for enthusiast and professional photographers and videographers.

The travel-enabled PhotoStream RL 150 offers peace of mind regardless of your aircraft with 7.5-inch depth. At only eight pounds, it allows you to maximize the gear you bring without exceeding weight restrictions. The bag’s vibration-absorbing, urethane-case wheels with ABEC-5 rated bearings ensure a smooth glide and long-lasting durability. Comfort-padded top and side handles and a sturdy three-stage aluminum trolley with center button control provide convenient carry options.

“Without question, a reliable carry-on bag is a necessity when flying with photo and video gear,” said Tim Grimmer, vice president of brand and product. “But packing a bag can quickly become a balancing act. We designed the PhotoStream RL 150 to be the ultimate carry-on roller – photographers and videographers can bring everything they need for a shoot, move quickly and easily when traveling, and still meet airlines’ regulations.”

Key innovative features of the PhotoStream RL 150 include a FormShell molded EVA front panel, similar to that of the ProTactic series, that provides armored device protection while preventing the bag from getting caught in overhead bins. The roller also offers a hinged CradleFit™ front panel that suspends and protects your laptop, giving you easy access to your device without opening the entire bag.

Its flexible interior can hold 1-2 pro DSLRs, one with up to a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached; up to eight lenses and speedlights; a 15-inch laptop; a small to medium sized tripod; and additional accessories.

The Mindanao group of islands in southern Philippines has long been called as the country's "Promised Land" - albeit this is often said as a yet-fulfilled potential, instead of highlighting what the place now has to offer. We don't only believe it's wrong; we also strongly believe time to correct this and highlight everything about this place that is, indeed, a land full of promise. So here's... Mindanaw Magazine!
